Anyway, I have started a new weight loss program (okay, I have owned the program for two years and am just now getting back to it again). Better late than never, right? It's the 6 week body makeover, and so far so good. I have lost 5 pounds in 3 days. The online support with this program is amazing. The people are great! When I start to feel hungry, emotional, or anything that comes with cleansing all the junk, I can just jump online and post how I am feeling, and total strangers jump in with awesome advice. By following their advice I made it through my first couple of days, and today I feel much better. The food is delicious and healthy.
There was a time that I would not have put those two words in one sentence. My mom raised me on healthy foods from the time I was very little (most of what came from the health food store tasted like cardboard). I was always a picky eater so most of the food she made was a turnoff to me. I would always eat her alternative sweet items made mostly of almond butter and honey, and avoid the veggies (most important part). But on this program, I am really enjoying the veggies and finding creative ways with my awesome support to jazz them up.

With the sauteed onions and green chilies there was no need for a dressing.
Well, I am off to the grocery store to make sure I have plenty of good food to keep me on track.
