Introducing...

I am so pleased to introduce JoAnn’s Creations. I owe the inspiration to my daughters and my parents who encourage me so much. Spending so much time schooling my children cumulatively over the last 12+ years showed me that I would love nothing more than to stick around home and work together with them to make JoAnn’s Creations happen. This venture will enable me to stay at home with them while earning an income at the same time. I am really looking forward to getting this off the ground.

On our website, I will be offering handmade all natural soaps, baking mixes, e-books, and whatever else I decide to throw into the mix. The first products available for order are my handmade Tangerine Oatmeal Soap Bars, and Spelt Chocolate Chip Scones mix.

A First Time for Everything

The last three weeks have been filled with firsts for one of my daughters. I took her to the dentist where they discovered she had 3 cavities. Cavities?! I have never had one in my life nor has my almost 19 year old, so this is a first for me. She and I have visited the dentist once a week for the last 3 weeks to get each one filled. Then today, on the last visit, the dentist found another smaller cavity in another molar. Ugh! So the dentist went ahead and filled the fourth one right there on the spot. Danielle was a trooper and did an amazing job, even though she was in tears at the beginning when they gave her a shot. Phew! Am I glad that's done.
